1 Establish aerospace special tool production line

In 2016, YICHOU as the leading unit and the main undertaking unit, jointly cooperated with Chengdu Tools Research Institute, Xiamen University and Beijing Institute of Technology to carry out the project of "Construction of precision Tool Intelligent Manufacturing Production line for processing key parts of aero-Engine". The project was successfully selected into the "2018 Intelligent Manufacturing New Mode Application" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and was successfully accepted in 2020, and the product was widely recognized by experts and customers.

With the successful conclusion of the project, YICHOU has now completed the whole life cycle of design-process-manufacturing-detection-application of "special precision tools for key parts-components of aero-engine".

  1. In cooperation with Xiamen University and Chengdu Tools Research Institute, we have established a parametric 3 D digital simulation platform for product design, process flow and product manufacturing (see Figure 1~ Figure 3).

  1. Based on overall workshop planning, process design, and intelligence Equipment layout and digital modeling optimization,  cooperative units have jointly completed the development and construction of an intelligent manufacturing system, which has been put into use. This system includes high-end CNC machine tools and industrial robots, intelligent sensing, control and detection equipment, intelligent logistics and warehousing equipment, as well as mold manufacturing and management systems. Combined with powerful software and control systems, it achieves rapid response and timely delivery of multiple varieties and small batches.
  2. Carry out in-depth strategic cooperation with a number of domestic precision machining equipment manufacturers, jointly break through and apply domestic high-precision servo pressure, machine, precision five-axis rotary blade surrounding grinder, precision five-axis tool grinder and other key weakness equipment, and complete the localization of the core production line.

2 Provide spare parts processing services in the aerospace field

Carbide coated blade, CNC blade, high precision integral tool and other high technology content, high value-added products in the processing accuracy, efficiency, rate, surface roughness and many other aspects show a strong advantage, making it become a new favorite in the processing field. In 2016, we serial development and application of aero engine and gas turbine" project was included in the support list by the National Development and Reform Commission, which played a role in promoting the replacement of imported tools in the processing of difficult processing materials such as titanium-based alloy, nickel-based alloy and high temperature alloy.

YICHOU  titanium alloy, high temperature alloy fast milling tools in a large number of Chengdu, Xi'an, Harbin and Shenyang, used in the processing of titanium alloy parts, which improves the controllability and safety of related industries.

YICHOU plans to continue to increase the investment in research and development on the existing basis, and continue to promote the serialized development and application of cutting tools for key parts of engine processing.
